Izham bin Ismail is an Executive Director of Malaysia Airlines Berhad. He currently holds the position of Group Chief Executive Officer of the Malaysia Aviation Group and Chief Executive Officer of Malaysia Airlines Berhad.? He has 40 years of experience in the aviation industry, having started his career with Malaysia Airlines as a pilot in 1979.?
Appointed to a management position just 10 years after joining Malaysia Airlines, Izham moved up the ranks over the years and has held various management positions such as Executive Vice President of Flight Operations, Director of Operations and Chief Operations Officer (COO) of Malaysia Airlines. Izham also served as CEO of MASwings, Malaysia Airlines’ sister company in Sabah and Sarawak, between July and November 2016.
Apart from his extensive aviation experience, Izham has also served as a Board member of Hamilton Sunstrand Malaysia and GE Engine Services Malaysia. He currently serves as Chairman of the National Aviation Council and Board member of Tourism Malaysia.
As a pilot, Izham broke world aviation records when he flew Malaysia Airlines’ first Boeing 777-200 eastward from Seattle to Kuala Lumpur and back. The flight set new world records for longest flight and fastest round-the-world flight by a commercial airliner, with a total flight time of 41 hours 59 minutes over a distance of 23,310 miles.
Tan Sri Krishnan Tan is a Non-Executive Director of Malaysia Airlines Berhad. He currently chairs the Board Safety and Security Committee and Board Risk Management Committee. He is a member of the Board Audit Committee as well as the Board Ethics and Governance Committee. He is also a director of Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad. His association with the airline started with his appointment as director of Malaysian Airline System Berhad in 2011 whereby he chaired the Board Safety and Security Committee as well as the Board Restructuring Committee.
Tan Sri Krishnan Tan obtained his Bachelor of Economics (Honours) degree from the University of Malaya in 1975 and qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in 1978. He also holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
He started his career in the commercial wing of the Selangor State, Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Berhad as an Assistant Accountant in 1975 with his last position as Group Financial Controller.
He then worked on the merger of IGB Construction, Jurutama Sdn Berhad and Mudajaya Construction Sdn Bhd which led to the formation of the present IJM Corporation Berhad with him as the Financial Controller. He became Director in 1990, Deputy Managing Director in 1994, Managing Director from 1997 till 2010 and Executive Deputy Chairman?from 2011 till 2013. He is currently the Non-Executive Deputy Chairman of the IJM Group.
He is the Independent Chairman of HSBC Bank (Malaysia) Berhad, Kuantan Port Consortium Sdn. Bhd. And the Malaysian Community and Education Foundation.
He also serves as Non-Executive Director on public listed companies, IJM Plantations Berhad and Grupo Concesionario del Oeste SA, Argentina.
He is actively involved in the promotion of Malaysia India business ties and is the founding President of the Malaysia India Business Council. He is also the Co-Chairman of Malaysia India CEO Forum which is a grouping of CEOs from both countries formed to enhance trade and investments between the two countries.
Tan Sri Krishnan Tan is an ardent promoter of the development of rugby in the country both through IJM as well as the COBRA Rugby Club - of which he was President from 1995 to 2009. He is currently President of the Klang High School Old Boys Association as well as Management Committee member of the Olympic Council of Malaysia Trust Fund.

Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani bin Mohd Isa is a Non-Executive Director of Malaysia Airlines Berhad. He is also a director of Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad. He is a member of the Board Safety and Security? Committee and Board Nomination and Remuneration Committee.
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani served as the Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director at Telekom Malaysia Berhad (“TM”) from April 2008 to April 2017. He began his career in TM in October 1984 and served for thirteen years, of which seven years were in the satellite related business. He left TM in 1997 to joined Maxis Communication Berhad as General Manager of lnternational Business & VSAT Marketing and Acting Head of Corporate Strategy and Business Development.
In 1998, he joined Global One as the Chief Operating Officer of ASEAN and was appointed the Business Development Director of Asia, Middle East and Africa (AMEA) in April 1999. ?
From August 2000 to 2001 he served with Lucent Technologies Malaysia as Chief Executive Officer and was responsible for managing the overall business for Lucent in Malaysia. He left Lucent at the end of 2001 to become an independent telecommunications consultant. In 2005 he returned to TM as Senior Vice President, Group Strategy and Technology. He was promoted to CEO - Malaysia Business, before being appointed as the Group Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director. He is currently the Chairman of UEM Sunrise Berhad.
Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication Engineering from Plymouth Polytechnic, United Kingdom in 1984 and has completed the Kellog School of Management's Programme in Corporate Finance (Strategies for Creating Shareholder Value.)

David Lau Nai Pek is a Non-Executive Director of Malaysia Airlines Berhad. He is also a director of Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad. He currently chairs the Board Audit Committee as well as the Board Governance and Ethics Committee. He is a member of the Board Risk Management Committee.
He is a Director of Axiata Berhad and Celcom Axiata Berhad. He was a former director of Hengyuan Refining Company Berhad (formerly known as Shell Refining Company (Federation of Malaya) Berhad). He has over 35 years of professional experience in finance and leading financial organisations in various locations in Australia, Brunei, China, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom. He served within the Shell Group for 28 years in various capacities. His last position before he returned to Malaysia at the end of December 2008 was Vice-President Finance, Shell International Exploration and Production B.V. which was based in The Hague, the Netherlands.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Canterbury University, New Zealand and is a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants and New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Dr Mohamadon Abdullah (or Dr. Don as he is known to many) joined Malaysia Airlines as a Management Trainee in June 1972. During his 32-year career, Dr. Don has gained vast hands-on experience in many operational, commercial and support areas of the company. These include Human Resources, Management Development, Marketing & Sales (Passenger & Cargo), Centralised Purchasing & Procurement, In-flight Catering & Cabin Services, In-flight Services and Flight Operations.
Dr. Don retired from service on 31 December 2004 as Senior General Manager, Corporate Services where he was responsible and accountable for Legal Affairs, Property Management, Corporate Insurance, Human Resource Training & Development, Government Relations & Corporate Communications, Corporate Safety & Security, Crisis Management and Medical Services.
Representing the Company, he also served as member of the board of directors for several subsidiaries and associate companies. He is currently the Executive Director of Borneo Isthmus Development Sdn. Bhd. He was a former Non-Executive Director of Comintel Corporation Berhad.

Sheranjiv A/L M Sammanthan?is a Non-Executive Director of Malaysia Airlines Berhad. He is also a director of Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad. Mohammad Izani bin Ashari is a Non-Executive Director of Malaysia Airlines Berhad. He is also a director of Malaysia Aviation Group Berhad. He currently chairs the Board Nomination and Remuneration Committee. He is a member of the Board Governance and Ethics Committee.
He joined Khazanah Nasional Berhad in April 2009 and is an Executive Director in charge of GLC Transformation Program, coordinating GLCs contribution to various national agendas such National Transformation Programs and the Bumiputera Agenda. He has been pivotal in the initial development which forms the foundation of the Government Transformation Program.
He has 30 years of working experience covering six different industries mainly with multi-nationals and large companies. These include Shell Malaysia, Maybank, Sime Darby, Petronas (both in Petronas Dagangan and Carigali), and Malaysian Airline System Berhad (MAS). He has spent 20 years of his career specialising in organisation transformation/reengineering.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Construction Management from Reading University, UK and Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying from John Moores University, Liverpool, UK.
